Meet Our Current Horses

Simon was originally purchased by an adult rider yet after several years working together, she made the heartfelt decision to retire him. Eventually she was diagnosed with Alzheimers and she was no longer able to care for him. Thanks to the barn owner stepping in, Simon now is turned out with a herd and he is a recipent of LL support.

Blaze, affectionately known as “Blue Ribbon Blaze,” was so much more than a show horse. He was a teacher, a partner, and a steady source of confidence for every rider lucky enough to sit on his back. With his many championships, he could light up the show ring, but it was the lessons he gave outside of the ribbons that made him unforgettable. Blaze had just the right mix of sass and patience, teaching riders to be brave while making them feel safe. From wide-eyed kids at their very first show to adults chasing long-time dreams, he carried each of them with grace. Blaze gave so much of himself through the years, and now he spends his days exactly as he deserves — retired in a big field, simply enjoying being a horse.

In 2022, Bella was purchased with the hopes of becoming a beginner lesson pony, but her journey took a different path. Scarred by a difficult past and serious health challenges, she needed time, care, and compassion to heal. Thanks to the dedication of those around her, Bella slowly regained her strength and spirit. Now happily retired, she spends her days grazing peacefully among friends, a heartwarming symbol of resilience, healing, and the power of second chances.

Rain is a school pony with a wide variety of skills. Unfortunately, last year she developed soundness issues. She is currently rehabbing slowly so that when she is able to return to work she will be completely healed and not in pain.
